![]() ![]() The other options are the same as the ones we discussed in the Processes and Services tabs (Copy, Refresh, Stop/Start). If you want to print the list, use the third option on the toolbar. The toolbar icons can be used to start a new process, export the list of processes or services to a plain text document (TXT) or Excel Spreadsheet (CSV). Alternate Task Manager does not require administrator privileges to run. Head to the System tab to view some advanced information about your computer's operating system. Copy the information of all services to the clipboard in a single-click from the context-menu. Right-click on a service to start or stop it. The Services tab lists all available services on your computer with their name, display name, type and their status (running or not running). The information is displayed in a pane that contains selectable text, so you can copy it and save it for reference. You may view the directory where the executable is located by using the "Open Folder" button. It displays the memory usage, file size, last access/write timestamps, creation date, folder location, etc for the detected process. I have AnVir Task Manager Free 7.5.2 installed on Windows 7 64bit, but unfortunately I can't use the 4 additional buttons with MB when the option: 'Skin Window Borders' is enabled. The buttons allow you to:ġ) Roll the window up - this can make your desktop clean very fast -)Ģ) Create a floating icon of the application Ĥ) Pin the window to be visible on the top. This is very useful as there are 4 additional buttons next to the Minimize button on the top right corner of every window. To make most of my Windows applications always visible on the top of other apps I just pin them with AnVir Task Manager ( ) The feature is available in the free edition as well. Little OT, but maybe someone find it useful: SimonBRT, thank you for a very useful tip I was going to add this feature to the wishlist, but I did a forum search before (as usual). ![]()
